Fred Hermis
Owner
My name is Fred Hermis, and my wife is Lisa. We are both native Houstonians. It has been my dream to own my own business, and Brookshire has given me the opportunity. I graduated from San Jacinto Junior College in 1985 and was sponsored by Leo Jarnigan Pontiac, a local dealership at that time. I was selected out of 200 candidates by General Motors to enroll in the first Automotive Service Excellence Program. After graduating, I pursued my automotive career at Jarnigan Pontiac. In 1986, I was offered the Shop Foreman position at a new dealership, Jarnigan Hyundai. Throughout the years, I worked for Mitsubishi, Mazda, and various dealers. I opened my first automotive shop, Tilden Car Care, in 1999. I was a successful business owner and market developer for six years. Before I found this opportunity in Brookshire, I worked for five years in the oil and gas industry. I have been blessed all my life by putting God first, family second, and my career third. I really appreciate the beautiful city of Brookshire welcoming my family business and me to serve this growing and expanding community.
Nick Hermis
Marketing/Service Advisor
- Nick is a 28-year-old marketing manager and service advisor.
- Nick has one brother Ryan, a sister Ashley, and one niece Amelia.
- Nick has been in auto industry for 10 years now.
- Nick was born in Houston and raised in Katy.
- He graduated from Cinco Ranch High School in 2011 and attended Blinn Junior College.
- He enjoys watching sports, BBQ’ing, and hanging out with friends and family on the weekend.
Jerry Scott
Shop Forman/ASE L1
My name is Jerry L. Scott, and I am a Master ASE Certified Mechanic for Brookshire Car Care. I am 57 years old, and I was born and raised in Oregon. I just recently moved to Texas, where I plan to make my home. I have always had a love for the auto industry. I remember, as a teenager, helping my father in his auto body shop and taking interest in automotive repair. After high school, I served in the Air Force, two years active duty and six years reserve. I received an honorable discharge in 1991 and started working in the automotive repair business. I have continued to better my career by taking additional classes and certifications to keep up with the fast-moving technological automotive industry.
Anthony Farias
Service Manager
- Anthony Farias is a service manager who is 52 years old.
- Married to his wife Shelly with 3 children, he has 2 sons Jordan 34, Cameron 30, and a daughter Bailey who is 27. Anthony has one grandchild, Brady, who is 4.
- He has been in the auto industry for 10 years now.
- Anthony was born in San Antonio and raised in Corpus Christi.
- He graduated HS in 1988 and went to Delmar Community College.
- Anthony enjoys spend time with his grandchild Brady, and he loves to BBQ on the weekend.
Aaron
ASE Mechanic
- Aaron Barnett is an ASE certified mechanic who is 24 years old
- Married to his wife Cheyenne for 2 years, they have one daughter, Harper, who is 3 years old.
- Aaron has been in the auto industry for 8 years and has been with Brookshire Car Care his whole mechanic life.
- Aaron was born and raised in Katy.
- Aaron graduated from Katy High School in 2016, and graduated TSTC in Rosenberg with a degree in mechanics.
- He enjoys hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends and family on the weekends.
Scott
ASE Mechanic
- Scott Briehen is an ASE certified mechanic who is 32 years old.
- Married to his wife Sarah for 3 years, they have one son, Wyatt, who is 2 years old. And they are expecting another child on the way.
- Scott has been in the auto industry for 15 years
- He was born in Houston and raised in Katy.
- He graduated in 2008 from Cinco Ranch HS, and graduated from San Jacinto Junior College in 2011 with a degree in auto mechanics.
- Scott is a huge Astros fan, and he also enjoys having BBQ’s with his family and friends.
Luis
Service Advisor
- Luis Valdivia is a service advisor who is 49 years old.
- Married to his wife Nancy, they have 2 daughters that are 7 and 9 years old.
- Luis has been in the auto industry for 30 years both as a mechanic and service advisor.
- Luis was born in Mexico City and raised in Chicago, Illinois.
- Luis graduated high school in 1995 and attended the University of Houston.
- Luis enjoy family time and coaching his daughters' soccer games on the weekend.
Renzo Arvizu
Shop Porter
- Age: 19, born August 2nd 2003
- He was born in Corpus Christi and moved to Brookshire at the age of 2.
- Renzo graduated from Royal High School with 4 years of Auto Tech training at Royal High School.
- Renzo enjoys playing pool with friends on the weekend and enjoys spending quality time with his family.
Darren
Service Consultant
- Darren Ravey was born on 7/17/1962
- Darren is married to his wife Gina. Darren and Gina have 3 kids together and one grandchild
- Darren grew up in Port Arthur, Texas and graduated from Thomas Jefferson High School
- Darren went onto college at McNeese State and played golf while attending McNeese State
- Darren enjoys being apart of his churches men’s group
- Darren loves to spend his time with his wife, kids and grandchild during his free time
